Factual answers to the questions Warframe players actually ask:
platinum, Baro Ki'Teer, relics and fissures, world cycles, prices.
Game mechanics (durations, taxes, resets) are stable; everything that changes constantly
(active fissures, prices, Baro) is live on the
VoidRelay dashboard — free, no account.
The reliable method: crack Void relics, collect Prime parts, and sell them to other players for platinum.
Trading unlocks at Mastery Rank 2 and happens in a clan dojo or at Maroo's Bazaar. Typical observed ranges: common parts 4–15 platinum, rare parts and full sets 15–100+. Always check the real price before selling. Beginners: even before relics, mods (corrupted, event drops, syndicate augments) sell for 10–20 platinum apiece from the earliest ranks — your true first platinum source.

Sell Prime parts at the Ducat kiosks in any relay: 15, 25, 45, 65 or 100 Ducats per part depending on rarity (rare golden parts = 100).
Tip: a part that sells high in platinum is usually better sold to players than to the kiosk — compare the Ducats-per-platinum ratio before dumping your stock.
Each Prime part drops from relics of a certain tier (Lith, Meso, Neo, Axi…).
VoidRelay cross-references those tiers with the currently active Void Fissures and tells you which to open right now. If the Prime is vaulted, its relics no longer drop: get it via Prime Resurgence (Varzia) or trading.
There is no fixed schedule: active fissures rotate continuously, with Lith, Meso, Neo and Axi missions always up.
On top of those: Requiem fissures (Kuva/Tenet weapons), Omnia fissures (Zariman), Steel Path variants and RailjackVoid Storms. Pick by relic tier and mission type you enjoy.
About 26 min 40 s total: 6 min 40 s warm, then 20 minutes cold.
The Orb Vallis (Fortuna) weather affects fishing and some creature spawns. Also tracked: Cambion Drift (Deimos) — 100 min Fass / 50 min Vome — and Earth (4 h day / 4 h night).
No fixed price: a Riven mod is worth anywhere from a few dozen to several thousand platinum, depending on the weapon, rolled stats and reroll count.
The most reliable check: compare similar Rivens (same weapon, close stats) on warframe.market Riven auctions. Be wary of off-the-cuff estimates in trade chat.
→ Tool: VoidRelay now shows the OFFICIAL per-weapon medians (Digital Extremes' weekly real-trade statistics) — an honest reference, NOT a quote: a specific roll can be worth far more or far less. Standard items (Prime sets, arcanes, mods) are still tracked on the Market card.
Yes — a credit tax paid by the receiver: 500 credits per platinum received (receiving 100 platinum costs 50,000 credits).
Each traded item also has a flat tax based on rarity. Clan dojos can add 0–100% on top (clan setting); Maroo's Bazaar adds 10%. Details: official wiki — Trading.
→ Tip: keep spare credits before a big trade; missing credits blocks the trade.
Yes to both. Crossplay works across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and mobile; Cross Platform Save is available everywhere via account linking.
Account merging was retired on January 17, 2025 — account linking remains available. Trading works across platforms, with one exception: platinum cannot be traded between Switch and other platforms. Source: warframe.com — cross progression.
→ Tool: VoidRelay tracks the PC market by default.
Warframe is free-to-play: all gear (warframes, weapons, mods) can be earned in-game, and the premium currency — platinum — is player-tradable, so you can earn it without paying.
Real money mostly buys time (rush timers) and cosmetics. Player trading is the valve that keeps the system balanced: patient players convert farm into platinum (see the platinum question).
→ Tool: VoidRelay is free too — no account, no intrusive ads.
The community reference is warframe.market: live buy/sell orders posted by players.
For an at-a-glance view without searching item by item, VoidRelay automatically aggregates: lowest seller price, median price, 24 h / 7 d change, Ducats-per-platinum ratio and alerts on big moves.
That's when the daily login tribute, your daily trade count, the Darvo deal and syndicate standing caps all refresh. Not to be confused with the Sortie, which resets separately around 16:00-17:00 UTC. Mechanic: official wiki.

The hard-mode Star Chart: enemies are +100 levels, with 250% health and shields, and you get +100% resource and mod drop chance.
Unlock it by completing every node on the connected Star Chart (a few optional assassinations excluded), then talk to Teshin. It rewards Steel Essence to spend on exclusive items. Mechanic: official wiki.
From the in-game Market: 20 Platinum = 1 Warframe slot, 12 Platinum = 2 weapon slots. New accounts start with 3 Warframe slots and 11 weapon slots.
Free slots also come from Junctions (Venus, Mercury, Mars…), some quests, and regularly from Nightwave ranks — and Platinum itself can be earned by selling Prime parts (see the first question). Mechanic: official wiki.
On utility, never on skins: slots for weapons and Warframes, Forma, boosters (the ×2 resource booster first) and Reactors/Catalysts.
The resource booster stays worth it at every level — many veterans keep it running permanently. Cosmetics can wait until farming Platinum is easy: the trade limit (1 trade per day per Mastery Rank) makes your first Platinum slow to earn.
Blueprints drop from Void fissures; the build takes 23 hours — restart it every single day in the Foundry.
Extras: the Nightwave cred shop, some invasions and event rewards, and the 3-Forma bundle in the Market (35 Platinum). Never rush a build with Platinum: the daily Forma adds up fast.
Released June 17, 2026 (Update 43): the dual Warframe Sirius & Orion, Styanax Prime, Railjack's return with a Steel Path mode, five Incarnon adapters, four arcanes and four augments.
The "Constellations" quest continues Jade and the Stalker's story; Sirius & Orion components drop in the new Uranus Railjack missions. It also ships a Nidus retouch and plenty of quality of life (DLSS 4/FSR 3, camera offsets, damage-over-time shown on health bars).
The next update, Iceblade of Narin (Fall 2026): the new Warframe Brysko, an entirely new Tau System with its Fornax hub-casino, the ice Warframe Narin, Citrine Prime, and a Banshee rework with her first-ever Deluxe skin.
Note: Banshee gets a rework and a Deluxe skin, not a Prime. A Deluxe skin for Qorvex was also shown. No exact date beyond "Fall 2026" has been announced.
Anything that raises your damage: an ability (Rhino's Roar, Mirage's Eclipse, Xata's Whisper), a Helminth-infused power, an augment (Volt's 1 costs ~10 platinum on the market), or a frame's innate kit.
It's THE wall to get past: without a buffer your weapons fall off in the endgame — with one, the same build holds up to level cap. Helminth unlocks early (segment from Son, on Deimos) and many frames already carry a built-in buff (Ash's passive boosts Slash, Jade's 2 buffs the squad…): identify yours early, and feed it Ability Strength (corrupted mods).
For Pandaahh, it's the Incarnon Dual Toxocyst: "the best secondary in the game", able to hold "up to level 10,000 without stuttering". In Incarnon form their ricochets hit heads constantly — so the Frenzy passive and the Incarnon charge sustain themselves.
They shine with headshot-oriented frames: Cyte-09 (his 1 marks weak points through walls) or Harrow with the Lasting Covenant augment (every headshot kill extends the 4's crit buff). The base weapon is researched in the clan dojo Bio Lab (Mastery Rank 11); the Incarnon adapter comes from Duviri's Steel Path Circuit when the weekly rotation offers it.
Pandaahh's method in his "SOS" sessions: a viable loadout first — one buffer frame and one strong weapon, 3-4 Formas each, "non-negotiable". Once your frame does the job, everything else follows.
Then, in order: farm corrupted mods (Deimos Orokin vaults — 99% of builds use at least one), rank up Cetus, Fortuna and Deimos ("not optional": that's where companion Link and Bond mods live, and where the Operator amp gets built), crack relics every day, and go unlock the Steel Path: +100% drop chance for resources and mods on all its missions.
The same skeleton fits ~90% of light-attack melees per Pandaahh: Condition Overload + Blood Rush + Weeping Wounds (the combo-scaling trio), Organ Shatter, attack speed, range ("most of a melee's comfort comes from there") and one element — usually Toxin.
Around the weapon: the Melee Exposure arcane for level cap (+60% Corrosive per ability cast, stacks 4x) — Melee Influence only if a frame applies Electricity for you, like Gyre; the Wrathful Advance Helminth (Kullervo, +100% melee crit chance for 10s); an Epitaph primer built Viral + Magnetic; and Dexterity arcanes on your guns to maintain combo duration (+7.5s each). Note: melee arcanes unlock after the Whispers in the Walls quest, and Condition Overload drops around Uranus and Deimos.
Unlike armor, Overguard doesn't strip with a status effect — you have to burn it down in damage. Magnetic amplifies damage to it heavily (up to +325% at 10 stacks, same as shields) and stays the best way to speed things up; Void damage carries a native 50% bonus against it.
Two exceptions remove it directly: Oberon's Smite clears it instantly, and Nyx's Psychic Bolts with the Pacifying Bolts augment steals it on every hit (up to a 7,500 cap) — live-tested by Pandaahh, with a bit of Magnetic on the side to finish the job.
