Q: How do I unlock Arbitrations?

Complete every mission on every planet of the star chart. Arbitrations then appear in the alerts: an elite mission on rotation, one life only, buffed enemies.

Q: Why Interception rather than Defense?

In Interception there are no NPCs to protect and you can stretch each phase while keeping a slight percentage lead, hence more drones and more Vitus. Defense remains better for endo (40,000 in ~40 minutes).

Arbitrations are the end-game elite alerts: one life only, buffed enemies… and the only source of Vitus Essence, the Arbiters of Hexis' currency. Done well, a session is truly worth it: this method — tested live by Pandaahh — produced 700 Vitus in 1h27, with 3 million credits and thousands of endo along the way.

The principle: drones, boosters, long phases

Vitus drops from Arbitration drones: ~6% chance per drone, 12% with a resource booster — and even more with a relay's resource blessing. Stack both before every session.
⚠️ After taking a blessing, switch relay (or go back through the Orbiter) before launching the mission, otherwise it isn't active. Squad tip: switching relay avoids reforming the squad.
Pick up Vitus immediately — the days of leaving it on the ground are over.
Choose Interception when it's on rotation: no NPCs to protect, and by keeping a ~1% lead over the enemy you stretch each phase — hence more drones, more Vitus. Hold the points two per point and "pre-heat" the spawn zones.

💥 Kuva Ogris + Nightwatch NapalmThe Nightwatch Napalm mod (drops from Kela De Thaym, Sedna — and by repeating her you also farm the Sobek mod that resells for 30-50 pl) leaves fire pools: shoot every spawn zone and everything dies continuously. 🧪 Saryn (or another buffer)Viral element on the weapon (a simple Toxin mod: her kit already adds poison and corrosive, and her 1's augment gives the team Corrosive). Mirage, Volt, Rhino, Chroma or Jade also work — and a full-strength Wisp for the motes (HP + speed, not the shock mote: you want enemies to keep walking in).

🔋 Energized Munitions (Helminth)The Helminth ability itself (75% ammo efficiency ≈ 4 shots for 1) solves the Ogris' real problem. Complete with Protea specters (ammo dispensers) or Nidus ones (strength buff), and Akarius as secondary.

🐾 Companion with doubled pickupsAdarza kavat (crit) or Sahasa kubrow (utility), with the mod that doubles pickups (Loyal Retriever) — essential here.

💡 Anti-knockdown trick: caught without protection? Deploy your Archgun: it grants ~2,000 Overguard — which immunises against knockdowns — and half a second of invulnerability when it breaks. Enough to survive any deployment.
