The Platinum Path
The complete path to earning platinum without spending a cent: every real method in the game, ranked by level — from your first 10-platinum trade to dealing in rivens and arcanes. Every tip is wired to this site's live market prices.
🌱 Beginner — your first 100 platinum
Available from MR2 · zero investment · everything comes from normal play
- Crack relics in public fissures and sell duplicate Prime parts. Every fissure mission (Void tab) opens a relic: duplicate rare Prime parts sell. A batch of common parts ("prime junk") goes for 1–3 platinum each in lots of 4–6 — the most reliable early income. Quick note: check every part on its price page before dumping it — some "commons" are worth 15 platinum.
- Sell syndicate augment mods. Wear a sigil and your syndicate standing climbs on its own; at 25,000 standing an augment costs nothing and resells for 15–25 platinum. Simplest method in the game: play, cash in. Quick note: pick augments of popular frames (check the builds — an augment listed in a build sells better).
- Sell duplicate rare mods. Gold rares that drop in missions (multishot mods, "Condition Overload"…) sell for 5 to 50 platinum. Type the mod's name into the search: if the median beats 10 platinum, keep it for sale.
- Sell fast, slightly under price. To sell within the hour, list ~15% under the median — exactly the "suggested sell price" computed on this site's market pages and every item page.
- Spend your first platinum wisely. Absolute priority: Warframe slots (20 pl) and weapon slots (12 pl for 2), then Orokin Reactors/Catalysts if needed. Never buy frames or weapons outright — everything can be farmed.

- Radshares: crack the right relics, in a squad of 4, radiant. Refine relics holding expensive parts to Radiant (the rare jumps from 2% to 10%, ~34% across 4 players running the same relic). First spot what's worth money on the market pages, then find the part's relic on its item page. "Radshare" squads live in Recruiting chat.
- Corrupted mods from the Deimos vaults. With the 4 dragon keys in a squad, every Orokin vault run drops a corrupted mod: Blind Rage, Narrow Minded, Overextended, Transient Fortitude… sell for 15–25 platinum unranked, more maxed. Check real prices: Blind Rage.
- Run two or three syndicates in parallel. Pick compatible syndicates, rotate augments AND syndicate weapons (they sell to mastery hunters). Passive income: you play, standing flows, you sell.
- Kuva Liches and Tenet Sisters. A defeated lich can be traded in a Dojo (Crimson Branch): weapons with a high elemental bonus and ephemeras attract collectors. Expect 20–50 platinum depending on weapon and %, more for rare ephemeras.
- Play the ducat economy. When Baro Ki'Teer approaches (countdown on the dashboard), cheap common Prime parts convert into ducats — and some Baro items resell for platinum later.
- Track your prices instead of selling blind. The 24h trend arrows and 7-day charts on every item page tell you whether to sell now or wait a week.

- Rivens, the top of the market. Unveil your riven mods (Sorties, Palladino weekly for a sliver), roll them with Kuva and sell the good rolls: from 50 to several thousand platinum for a "god roll" on a popular weapon. The riven disposition (●●●○○) is shown on every weapon build page — strong disposition + loved weapon = value. Quick note: sell average rolls fast and cheap; only showcase the exceptional ones.
- Hunt arcanes. Eidolon hunts (Cetus night, timer on the dashboard) and end-game modes drop arcanes that sell individually or as full sets (max rank = 21 copies): Arcane Energize remains the benchmark. Steel Path Acolyte weapon arcanes (Primary Merciless…) move well too.
- Invest before the vault. When a Prime set nears removal from rotation, its price climbs for months afterwards. Buy sets at the dip, resell after vaulting. Each set's trend and volume live on its price page; the current Prime Resurgence rotation shows on the dashboard.
- Be the market maker. Buy underpriced listings (rushed sellers list 30% under median), resell at median. The 7-day chart and 24h change on each item page tell you whether a gap is a bargain or a real drop. Quick note: small margin per trade, volume makes the profit — work 10–15 liquid items.
- Baro's primed mods as an investment. Primed mods return rarely: buying spares when Baro brings them (ducats + credits), then reselling between visits, is a classic — 60–110 platinum each (Primed Continuity, Primed Flow…).

⚠️ Mistakes and scams to avoid
- Never trade without checking the price. The classic scam: buying your item for 10 platinum when it's worth 100 — or selling you a worthless "god roll" riven. Three seconds on the price page avoids 90% of traps.
- Re-read the trade window before confirming. A last-second "switch" (swapping the item or removing the platinum) is still the most common scam. The window revalidates on every change: re-read every time.
- Keep credits for the tax. Receiving 1,000 platinum costs 500,000 credits in tax — plus the Dojo tax. Big trades often fail because one side lacks credits.
- Don't sell during dips. Prices move with events (Prime Resurgence, Baro's return, new releases). Trends tell you when to wait a week.
- Post and repost at peak hours. EU and US evenings concentrate the buyers. A WTS message reposted every 2–3 minutes in trade chat outsells any listing.
