Jade Shadows: Constellations — everything the update brings
Jade Shadows: Constellations (Update 43) has been live since June 17, 2026. A direct sequel to the Jade Shadows quest, it adds the 65th Warframe — the Sirius & Orion duo —, two new protoframes, the big Railjack comeback with its Steel Path mode, Styanax Prime, five Incarnons, new arcanes and augments, and a hefty batch of quality of life.
The essentials in 30 seconds
- Sirius & Orion: a single Warframe, two switchable forms — Jade (green, support) and Stalker (red, offense) — with a signature scythe in two versions, Pride and Wrath.
- New "Constellations" quest: 30 to 40 minutes, must be finished once started; it continues the story of the Stalker, Jade and their son.
- Railjack: two brand-new missions on the Uranus Proxima with the protoframes Ryoku (Ash) and Vena (Garuda), plus Steel Path Railjack and its fissures.
- Styanax Prime together with the Afentis Prime and the Athodai Prime.
- 5 Incarnons (Vectis, Stug, Obex, Destreza, Ballistica), 4 arcanes, 4 augments, a Nidus touch-up, DLSS 4 / FSR 3 and lots of comfort features.
Sirius & Orion: one Warframe, two destinies
Born from the story of Jade and the Stalker, this dual Warframe plays like Equinox… with a twist: while you play one form, the other keeps fighting at your side, like Wukong's specter. You hold the first ability key to swap, and each form has its own abilities.
Passive: on every form swap, your next 2 abilities gain 45% ability efficiency — the game constantly nudges you to alternate. Each ability cast also adds a star (green or red depending on the form) to your constellation, which fuels the ultimate — you can't chain more than two stars of the same colour, you have to alternate.
🟢 Sirius — Jade's legacy
Support & defense, Heat damage
Throws a long-range disc that comes back like a boomerang: it ignites the enemies it passes through and picks up loot from the ground.
Summons eyes of light around you: your damage triggers bonus Heat damage, even stronger when it comes from abilities.
A heal + damage reduction zone that strengthens the longer you stay in it — and lets you revive an ally who falls inside (one revive per minute).
🔴 Orion — the Stalker's shadow
Pure offense, area control
A short-range strike that deals Slash and strips the armor of enemies hit.
Reactive defense: when you take a hit, you leave behind a decoy that draws enemy attention then explodes.
A black hole that sucks enemies in and explodes at the end of its course; every victim makes it stronger and longer-lived. Tip: Sirius' 1 pulls it toward you, Orion's 1 pushes it away.
✨ Shared ultimate — Celestial Collision
Sirius and Orion rise and clash in an aerial duel, replaying the constellation your abilities drew (up to 7 stars). During the ultimate, press the directional key matching the colour of each star: every successful collision triggers a huge area explosion, grants bonus critical chance and damage, and the final blow hits even harder. Spectacular — but demanding: miss the rhythm and you lose the bonus.
Pandaahh's verdict after a level cap run (dedicated video): his comfort tip — in the options, invert "tap / hold" of abilities for this frame: every cast swaps the form, the constellation fills continuously and the ultimate comes back very fast (his crits climb much higher when both forms alternate). Energy is generous enough to spam everything with just the Equilibrium mod. He recommends a secondary with Secondary Fortifier (Furis or Incarnon Dual Toxocyst) for the Thrax, and sums up the contract: "extraordinary nowhere, bad nowhere" — a fun frame above all, not an optimisation pick, still a bit buggy but fixed patch after patch. His full setup is on the Sirius & Orion build page.
How to get it
- Complete the "Constellations" quest (30–40 min). ⚠️ Once started, you must finish it before you can play other content again.
- The main blueprint is given at the end of the quest; the components (chassis, neuroptics, systems) are farmed in the new Railjack missions of Uranus.
- No Equinox-style double craft: the "Sirius & Orion" components directly build the single Warframe.
Pride & Wrath: the signature scythe
The signature heavy scythe exists in two versions tied to the two forms: Wrath (red, crit-oriented) and Pride (green, status-oriented). The numbers shown at Devstream 196 — possibly provisional — are already enormous:
| Stat | Wrath (Orion) | Pride (Sirius) |
|---|---|---|
| Range | 2.8 m | 2.8 m |
| Critical chance | 77% | 48% |
| Critical multiplier | ×5 | ×5 |
| Status chance | 28.5% | 87.5% |
| Combo duration | 5 s | 17 s |
| Profile | Slash-dominant, crit | Status, 1.2 speed |
On the fashion side, three syandanas accompany the duo: a green one (Sirius), a red one (Orion) and Jade's Victory, the combined version — crafted from the other two and promising gorgeous fashion frames.
💡 The creator's take: visually, "these are going to be the two most beautiful frames in Warframe" — animations, effects, the aerial duel. The caveat: the ultimate requires actively tracking the constellation mid-mission, which can get tiring in real play. Try it hands-on before judging.
Railjack: the big comeback
A new sector on the Uranus Proxima with two brand-new missions, at the heart of the protoframe storyline of Ryoku (the echo of Ash, green ship) and Vena (the echo of Garuda, red ship):
- You team up with one of the two protoframes aboard their Railjack — no Archwing and no personal Railjack in these missions.
- Chained objectives (transports to destroy, a cloaked asteroid to reveal…) up to the final boss: the other protoframe. Teamed with Vena you fight Ryoku — and vice versa.
- New Corpus ships and reworked lighting for the occasion.
The "almost free" bonus (shown live by Pandaahh): these missions give ~20 Talents of each colour per run, and at Hunhow's, in the Pontis tower, the 12 + 12 Talents trinket unlocks the War Prime — delivered with a weapon slot and a pre-installed catalyst (a second trinket gives the Broken War; count two runs to walk away with both). The heavy blade is very Impact-heavy — Slash is the Broken War's specialty —: decent stats, nothing more, but free, gorgeous, and made for Tempo Royale. Details on our War Prime page.
Above all, the Steel Path comes to Railjack: enemies +50 levels, more resources and mods, no Acolytes but Steel Essence on Eximus — and Steel Path Void fissures in Railjack. A real reason to go back. New to the mode? First read starting the Steel Path right.
💡 Getting your Railjack ready in 2–3 hours of play (the creator's method, tested on a "small account"):
1. Farm the Earth then Venus missions while collecting intrinsics — the full tree is worth the equivalent of 12 Warframes in mastery. Level everything to ~rank 5–6, then prioritise Command.
2. Recruit your crew at Ticker's (Fortuna): aim for Endurance 5 and one trade close to 5 (Repair, Combat or Gunnery), then spread the remaining points. At Command rank 10, elite members (bonuses like +150% critical chance on primary or secondary weapons) are worth their high price.
3. Fit the ship with MK2 gear along the way, switch to MK3 around Pluto — after that, a good crew practically runs the mission on its own.
Styanax Prime
The Styanax Prime Access arrived with the update: superb golden design, polished accessories, and two weapons — the Afentis Prime speargun (his signature weapon) and the Athodai Prime pistol with its animated central wheel. As always, everything can also be farmed for free through relics: watch the Styanax Prime set prices before buying anything.
- His 3 regenerates shields and energy for the squad on every cast — a huge comfort in groups.
- His 2, with its augment, goes from a simple armor/shield strip to a big critical damage buff.
- His passive boosts your weapons' critical chance — doubled with a speargun: the Afentis of course, or a Ferrox you can farm right now.
Five new Incarnons
Five Incarnon Genesis adapters join the Steel Path Circuit rotation: Vectis, Stug, Obex, Destreza and Ballistica. The two stars:
- Vectis — charges on headshots; in Incarnon form, a body shot applies Cold, a headshot triggers an area ice explosion. Shown against level 250 enemies with no mods at all, already very convincing.
- Stug — Warframe's absolute meme (5% crit, 0% base status…) charges by sticking its gel blobs, then spits projectiles that ricochet everywhere before exploding. The game's most mocked weapon finally becomes playable.
First community feedback, one month in (reported live by Pandaahh): it's ultimately the Ballistica the community favours, the Destreza is appreciated ("but it's still a melee"), and the chat advises against prioritising the Stug and the Vectis — Pandaahh, who went Stug + Vectis before that feedback, regretted it on stream. The adapter is installed at Cavalero's, on the Zariman.
Arcanes & augments
Four new arcanes, two of them detailed at the Devstream:
- Arcane Sculptor — after an ability creates an object, your ability efficiency is locked at 175% for 12 s. Works with Atlas' wall, Frost's globe, Gara's vitrification, Ivara's zipline, Mirage's prism or Nova's portal — but not with simple projectiles (Ash's shurikens…). Discovering it live, Pandaahh's chat confirmed other energy-hungry triggers: Khora's cage, Protea's turrets, Qorvex's pylons — "it can proc with every frame in the game", and the arcane resells very well.
- Primary Compression — −80% explosion radius on the primary weapon, in exchange for +100% damage and +5.5 ammo efficiency per metre of radius lost. Radical — and the effect only applies while aiming, hip-fire stays intact. The stream's reading: turn an explosive weapon into a single-target boss killer.
- Secondary Cryogenic — on inflicting a Puncture status: 3 Cold stacks on all targets within 15 m, no line of sight needed. Since Cold increases critical damage taken, it feeds high-Puncture secondaries — a Furis, Pandaahh suggests, "can seriously do the job".
- Melee Assimilation — on shield damage: +150% melee damage on Heavy Attack and every heavy-attack kill restores 30% of max shields for 20 s — four kills from a single slam = full shields. The stream's chat immediately adopted it for Equinox slam builds, which lacked a defensive layer. These arcanes are farmed in the new Uranus Railjack missions.
And four Warframe augments:
- Noctua Swarm (Dante) — the Noctua's alt-fire releases Paragrimms that harass an 8 m zone for 15 s, silence enemies and steal their energy for allies.
- Rhythm Guard (Temple) — Overguard on every ability cast in rhythm, an amount that doubles on every successful beat (and drops if you miss the metronome). Temple's defense finally breathes.
- Reroot Rampage (Nokko) and Kumihimo Loading (Koumei) complete the list, at the faction syndicates.

How do I get Sirius & Orion?
Complete the "Constellations" quest (30–40 min) for the main blueprint, then farm the components in the new Railjack missions of Uranus. Once the quest is started, you must finish it before playing other content again.
Do I need my own Railjack?
Not for these two missions: the protoframe's Railjack is lent to you (and the Archwing disabled). But owning yours remains ultra-worthwhile — intrinsics, crew, Steel Path fissures — and can be set up in 2–3 hours of play.
Sirius & Orion, one Warframe or two?
A single one (the 65th), with two forms swapped by holding the first ability key. The form you're not playing keeps fighting at your side.
What does the Styanax Prime Access contain?
Styanax Prime, the Afentis Prime, the Athodai Prime and the Prime accessories. Everything can also be farmed for free through relics — compare the set prices first.
