Eidolon hunting: complete guide

Eidolons are massive bosses that appear at night on the Plains of Eidolon (Cetus). Hunting them is one of the best sources of arcanes.

When to hunt

Only at night on Cetus (roughly a 50-minute night / 100-minute day cycle). The live day/night countdown is shown on the dashboard.

Prerequisites

• Completed the "Saya's Vigil" quest to access the Plains.
• A decent Amp (Operator weapon) to break the Eidolon's shields.
• A support Warframe (Trinity, Volt, Harrow…) and high-punchthrough weapons.

Rewards

Eidolons drop arcanes (highly sought-after and tradeable), focus, and shards. Eidolon arcanes are an excellent source of platinum when resold.
