The Best Warframes for Beginners

Early in Warframe, some Warframes make the journey much easier: easy survival, reliable damage and fast farming. Here are our beginner picks.

Rhino — the unkillable tank

Rhino is THE beginner pick: Iron Skin makes him nearly invincible for a while, and Rhino Charge deals big damage. Easy to get (Jackal boss on Venus). His Prime set is also very accessible — see the Rhino Prime price.

Excalibur — versatile and solid

Available early for many players, Excalibur excels in melee with his Exalted Blade and stays useful at all levels.

Frost / Volt — control and damage

Volt brings speed and electric damage (great early/mid game); Frost protects with his Snow Globe (ideal for Defense missions).
